Healthy sexual behaviour is spontaneous, curious, desiring, reciprocated and easily distractable. This is called GREEN BEHAVIOUR in the Traffic Light.
This kind of behaviour develops through – among other things – adults passing on their knowledge about body, sexuality, emotions, relations and boundaries to children and young people. Adults must be careful without being overbearing, but also available to listen to the child or young person’s question or reflections. This is yet another area in which adults are role models for children and young people.
